Content Republic is subsidiary of Property Republic Pty Ltd (ACN 162 396 796), hereafter referred to as “we”, respects your privacy. Across our business, we often collect Personal Information about people that we do business with. “Personal Information” is defined by law as information or an opinion which identifies or could reasonably identify an individual. This can include the email address you provide us to opt into our mailing list services.

We endeavour to collect your Personal Information only with your consent. When you register for one of our websites or mailing lists, part of the registration agreement involves you consenting to us collecting Personal Information about you.

Content Republic operates an opt-in email newsletter service. We will collect your name and email address for distribution purposes. These details will never be sold, rented, or passed on to third parties without your explicit consent. We may also use your information to make you aware of other goods or services that may be of interest to you, and to send you newsletters and surveys.  

If you do not wish to receive this information, or you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list service, you can ask that your name be removed from our marketing mailing list by contacting Content Republic, or by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.  

If any other use is to be made of your Personal Information, we will tell you at the time of collection of the information.

3.2 Third party service providers 

We sometimes hire vendor companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including packaging, mailing and delivering items, sending postal mail, providing technical support, and processing registrations. We provide those companies only the information they need to deliver the service, and they are prohibited by law from using that information for any other purpose. 

We may also use and disclose your Personal Information in the good faith belief that such action is necessary in connection with a sale, merger, transfer, exchange or other disposition (whether of assets, stock or otherwise) of all or a portion of a business of Property Republic and /or its subsidiaries. 

3.3 We do not sell your information to others 

We will not sell your Personal Information to marketing companies or unrelated companies without your consent. 

3.4 Other permitted disclosures 

The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) also contains a number of statutory circumstances in which we may collect, use and disclose your Personal Information. 

We may disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do by law, such as where it is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or suspected fraud.

We take steps to ensure that the Personal Information we collect is accurate, up-to-date and complete. These steps include maintaining and updating Personal Information when we are advised by individuals that their Personal Information has changed, and at other times as necessary.
